Aircraft Liability & Physical Damage coverage is designed to protect aircraft owners and operators against the financial consequences arising from the ownership, maintenance, and use of their aircraft. This line of coverage targets a broad spectrum of aircraft types — including standard, experimental, and light sport single-engine aircraft, piston and turbine multi-engine aircraft, and rotorcraft such as helicopters and gyrocopters. Eligible operations span a wide range as well, from pleasure and business flying to flight instruction, aircraft rental, Part 135 charter/air taxi operations, sales demonstrations, and various special-use activities like aerial photography, pipeline patrol, and advertising. Liability limits can be written up to $10 million per occurrence, with hull values covered up to $3 million, making this a flexible and comprehensive solution for general aviation risks.
